Youyung Cho | Founder & Head Coach
Youyung Cho is the founder and head coach of Cornerstone Thai Boxing. Youyung started training in Muay Thai since 2006. As a competitor, Youyung has an amateur Muay Thai record of 10-12-1 and has competed against one of the top fighters in the 130lbs-140lbs weight class divisions. In 2016, Youyung decided to change his career from a graphic designer to follow his passion for Muay Thai and founded Cornerstone Thai Boxing in Queens, New York. He wanted to share his Muay Thai knowledge in the community where he grew up. Youyung also worked at Elm Community Charter School as a Physical Education Associate Teacher and Afterschool Program Director 2019~2021.
Kurt Griemsmann | Muay Thai Coach
With an astounding 20 years of experience in Muay Thai, Coach Kurt's journey began at the age of 40, showcasing that it's never too late to pursue your passion. Kurt's teaching philosophy revolves around tapping into your strengths to achieve greatness. His wisdom and decades of experience shine through in his classes at Cornerstone.
As a seasoned practitioner, Coach Kurt knows how to empower students to break through their perceived limits and excel. His classes are a blend of technique, discipline, and the belief that with the right mindset, anyone can achieve remarkable progress. James Kiang | Adult BJJ Coach
Coach James is a Marcelo Garcia Brazilian Jiujitsu Black Belt. As a martial arts practitioner since 2002, Coach James Kiang has cross trained in different disciplines and has competed in amateur MMA and Brazilian
Jiu-Jitsu. Through constant and dedicated training he has earned coach\instructor level rankings in different martial arts and as well ranks in other disciplines as well.
